Invultra is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Wonder character, Invultra. It is produced by Wonder Studios and distributed by Fanfic Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the fifth installment of the Wonder Cinematic Universe (WCU). The film is directed by Rafe Bowser with a screenplay by Christian De Leon and Andrew Gaznhavi, and stars Emma Stone, Armie Hammer, Brian J. Smith, Phoebe Tonkin, Alan Rickman and Lucas Neff.
The film began principal photography in May 2015 in Florida. Additional filming is expected to take place in Los Angeles, New Mexico and Singapore. Invultra is scheduled to be released on January 8, 2016 in IMAX.
Premise[]
A failed attempt to revolutionize teleportation causes an accident that leaves Claire Atwell, one of the lead scientists in the experiment, with superhuman powers. Claire must learn to harness her powers to protect the world from a fellow scientist affected by the accident who chooses to use their abilities for the wrong reasons.
